MS Meds Working?!

In November, 2009,   twice I walked without thinking about it. Doesn’t sound like much, eh? Well, usually every step takes thought and care. Then this last week, my endurance for physical activity has improved. In one day, I shoveled the front porch, short sidewalk and 1/3 of our driveway of snow and lots of it. Then later I swept the backyard clear of snow for our little pup. Not the entire yard but some of it. That same day, I cleared our BR of “stuff” so we could take the carpet out. I rested in between these activities BUT I did them all in one day!

The week before, I was doing massive kitchen cleaning – you know, moving things and cleaning behind the stove. All that yucky cleaning we put off. 2 1/2 hours later I realized I was hungry and couldn’t believe it was 2:30! Usually my endurance is about 15 minutes or less.

My daughter asked how Copaxone works and I read from the Shared Solutions website, and learned that in time, Copaxone can ward off relapses for up to 5 years.

I think good things are coming my way.

Thanks for listening!

Emergency Preparedness

When emergencies happen, even the most able-bodied people have trouble knowing what to do. Here is a good site for information for people with disabilities and their families:

Be sure and check all the topics on this site. There is much good information.

Let me know if  you know of other sites/phone numbers that would serve all people with disabilities and their families.
